Draw the entire drawing as shown above on
one single piece of paper.
Holding a pen
straight up and down
trace the first side.
Be careful not to move the weapon.

Don't draw the dotted lines...
that's our job.

However, if you think you can
cut the dummy to fit then add
3/4" plus around (dotted line)
and do a test fit.

Now, very carefully, roll the
weapon  up on its side
and trace the width.

Be very careful not to move
the weapon when tracing.

This width is critical
to the cutting and
fitting of the leather

Now, carefully continue to
roll the  weapon to the
other side and trace.

If possible show the
trigger & hammer
position on all traces...
...this helps determine
the shape of
your final holster.

After tracing your weapon,
mail it to the Frontier address
at the top of this page.
Then...
We will make a paper dummy, and
send it to you for final sizing.

Wrap the paper dummy around your
weapon...you should have 3/4"
on the sides...
See sample in step 4...

Make sure you have 3/4" all
down the side, top to bottom.

Then just indicate where you'd like the
top edge to be...over the trigger or
showing the trigger area.

Call me
if you need help.

If you feel you can do
it yourself go ahead..it will
save time, but call us
before sending the dummy.

Cut out the dummy on the
dotted lines and Wrap the
paper dummy around the
weapon and
pinch all along the side
top to bottom...........

There should be at
least a 3/4" area free
where the weapon is not felt.

This 3/4" is Critical

How to Trace Your Weapon for a Holster
Although the perfect way to create a holster is for us to have your weapon overnight...
The next best method is for you to carefully trace your weapon...this is not a guarantee
of a perfect fit,  but we will do our best... it may involve sending you a paper dummy for approval...
but in the end we will get it right! for you...
 FAIR  ENOUGH!

How to Measure Yourself for a Shoulder Holster
Notice the top of the paper dummy...the curved area that will become
the top edge of the holster...you can see how it  is  curved to cover
nearly the entire trigger and trigger guard.    When you send us your
paper sample indicate  where  you'd like the top of the holster to be.
EXAMPLE:  If you want the entire trigger showing so you can draw
the gun better indicate that on the paper drawing, or best, cut the
paper exactly like you'd like the holster to be.   In the sample above
the holster will look EXACTLY like the paper dummy.

WILL BE YOUR HOLSTER
